We offer both a more realistic original version of the late 1940's clothes, and also the very stylized, bright, heightened reality of William Ivey Long's costume designs for the 1992 revival, for your choice. Our revival "chickies" have removable tail feather fans to dance around the barnyard with, again, per his design. An abridged Junior version for the younger performer is available. Details in our Showplot™.

Sky Masterson, an inveterate gambler, bets that he can get Sarah Brown, a "high class doll" and missionary, to go to Havana with him. Nathan Detroit, organizer of the oldest established floating crap game in New York, had been engaged to Miss Adelade, star of the Hot Box Night Club for 14 years. Adelade has a chronic cold over this prolonged engagement and begs Nathan to give up gambling, go straight and marry her. Nathan has to hide his next crap game in the sewer, ("Luck be a Lady"). Sky tricks Sarah into going to Havana, discovers he's in love with her, so has to make amends for the trick by bringing all the gamblers (sinners) to a mission meeting in time to help Sarah save the mission from being closed. Sky marries Sarah, and Nathan marries Adelade.
