Recently the Peabody Essex Museum  contacted us for costume pieces and hats to use in a green-screen photo booth they set up to complement a private patron event on Dutch portraiture.

Preparing for the event, the staff had a grand time becoming likenesses of Rembrandt, Vermeer's "Girl in the Pearl earring" and others, wearing our wardrobe pieces with old masters' portrait backgrounds on the green screen.

The Peabody Essex Museum (www.pem.org) in Salem, MA, is one of our favorite New England museums. We're pleased to be able to participate in their events, and are also excited about their upcoming exhibit  "Future Beauty - Avant-Garde Japanese Fashion".

We got a request from New Jersey to provide our flying monkeys to accompany a contestant for Miss New Jersey in the pageant parade, we were delighted!

Her assigned theme was the wicked witch of the west, and she decided she needed her flying monkeys around her for the best effect!

Clearly they did their job, since she took first prize in the parade!
