Tracy Notes About This Show

There are several script and film versions, many adapted from Stoker's novel. Our Showplot is generic for these characters. If you have a specific design concept or characters in mind, please let us know and we will be glad to work with you to realize your vision. There is one version that is particularly bloody - please let us know if you are using this one, so we may advise on ways to deal with the blood and select the costume pieces we provide.

Plot Synopsis

This is one of the great mystery thrillers and is generally considered among the best of its kind. Lucy Seward, whose father is the doctor in charge of an English sanitarium, has been attacked by some mysterious illness. Dr. Van Helsing, a specialist, believes that the girl is the victim of a vampire, a sort of ghost that goes about at night sucking blood from its victims. The vampire is at last found to be a certain Count Dracula, whose ghost is finally laid to rest in a striking and novel manner. (Samuel French)
