Tracy Notes About This Show

The opening night cast included John Cullum, Madeline Kahn, Imogene Coca, and Kevin Kline. How much better than that can a funny musical get!!!! Our designs reflect the zaniness of a 1930's musical and the craziness of one particular character. The show takes place entirely on a train!

Plot Synopsis

The story concerns the efforts of a flamboyant theatrical impresario to persuade a film star to appear in his next production and to outwit rival producers and creditors while getting rid of a religious nut and the film star's boyfriend. And, he must do all this before the 20th Century Ltd. reaches NYC! (Samuel French)

And by the way...

The answer to our very most frequently asked question is - NO!!!

The question is: Do you have a minimum order or do we have to rent a whole show?

We believe you should be able to order one hat, two props, an entire show, or anything in between - it's one of your basic theatrical freedoms.

  • All we said was "we have no minimum order" and got this back - "you are a haven of ethics in what can be a bottom-line industry". Thanks!
