Tracy Notes About This Show

Our wardrobe includes correct Jewish clothing - yarmulkes, hats, prayer shawls; and our Showplot includes notes about wearing them. For the younger performers, we do offer a set of BOTTLE HATS with velcro inserts, but we do not encourage their use. The setting shows a spontaneous dance erupting in a tavern where the men are drinking; hence a variation in size and shape of bottles and hats and the very real possibility of their falling off, is to be expected. Similarly, the style of the Sabbath coat worn by the men will vary among the villagers, and they should not be identical. We offer a variety of facial hair options, from our Build-a-Beard kit with which to build your own to handmade human hair mustaches and beards for purchase. Our Build-A-Beard Kit is our Tracy exclusive, reasonably priced set of supplies for creating at least one full beard and mustache - often more! We have written the instructions, and tested them out on folks who have never made a beard before, and gotten good results! It's an inexpensive way to create pretty realistic beards for your cast. Request a Showplot™ for details.

Plot Synopsis

The answer to our very most frequently asked question is - NO!!!

The question is: Do you have a minimum order or do we have to rent a whole show?

We believe you should be able to order one hat, two props, an entire show, or anything in between - it's one of your basic theatrical freedoms.

  • All we said was "we have no minimum order" and got this back - "you are a haven of ethics in what can be a bottom-line industry". Thanks!
